Susanville Ranch Park: Great views, well-maintained trails and close proximity to town describe Susanville Ranch Park, an 1,100-acre park owned and managed by Lassen County as a shared use recreation area. The Park is located northeast of Hwy 36 (Main Street) in Susanville and provides plenty of day-use parking. Directions to Susanville Ranch Park: In Susanville take Main Street (Hwy 36) north, to North Roop Street. Turn left onto North Roop which connects with Cherry Terrace. Follow Cherry Terrace for 1.2 miles to Lakewood Way. Turn left into the Park entrance. An information kiosk, vehicle and equestrian parking as provided. No potable water available. Encouraged activities include hiking, biking, birding, running, picnicking, horseback riding and photography. Prohibited activities include fires, firewood cutting, overnight camping, discharge of firearms and operation of motorized vehicles. |
